Five Commandments of Personal Branding

1. Identify and recognize the Essence of You. That becomes your uniqueness and distinguishing factor.

2. You have to love what you are doing. Do what you are passionate about; what you care about; what excites you; what gets you up in the morning.

3. Always know who your customers are and what they want. Really understand the clients’ issues, challenges and problems; then provide a solution.

4. Find something you can do better than anybody else. Then become really, really good at that.

5. Create visibility and get exposure; speak, write, network, do public relations, or anything else that gets your name out.

Bonus: Find a topic that is not yet covered, and become an expert on that topic.
